2179 : Pool and library

2201 : Place to interact with all members of the family - furry top

2205 : INCLUSIVENESS. I'm tired of spaces that do not make an effort to include ALL members of our community - and as a result, the same people have the easiest access to the space and are the ones who show up to take advantage of resources. Changing this will require WORK. A lot of outreach, invitation. Further, including people whose voices are not heard in the planning process (and I mean on more than just a survey) will help ensure access for all.

Indoor swimming pools, fitness facilities, gymnasiums, library, coffee shop and a water park outside. A seamless indoor outdoor space with lots of natural light would make for an inviting space.

113 : Would be great if you could offer city services there as well, pay taxes, pay pet licenses etc.

260 : Our family tried to use the library as often as possible, but the closest library currently being a 15 minute drive away has caused us to stop going. 2239 : An outdoor entertainment space with a park, outdoor sports areas, gym with childminding,

2240 : We love the picnic areas that are at some places, those tables with the bbq fixed- like at green timbers park.

2274 : Library much needed

2298 : I love the idea of having Clayton be a hub especially with the new high school going in - how are teens expected to get there without having a parent drive them? Will community busing be available?

2299 : An pool!!'n

2305 : Games in the library

2313 : N/A

2358 : Indoor Swimming Pool because Cloverdale is the only area in Surrey that doesn't have any indoor swimming pool

2375 : our community needs a pool. Fleetwood, Grandview, and walnut Grove serve their own busy communities and our population explosion warrants an indoor pool.

2409 : Outdoor courts for tennis and pickle ball

2412 : A big library; an indoor play area for small children, an independent cafe would be great!

2420 : A family games room similar (but larger) than the one at the Timms Rec center in Langley. Also open gym time.

2442 : Availability of programs/classes for parents to attend while kids are in school.

2449 : Clayton is a culturally rich and diverse neighborhood, it would be great to showcase this

2450 : Remember the space(s) are for all ages and interests - needs to be quiet areas as well as activity areas / social areas and individual areas and boundaries between need definition

2457 : The sooner the better

2459 : a basketball court is personally, for myself and my circle of friends, the feeling 'at home' in a neighbourhood

2463 : Would love to see a full size track. We do not have one in the Neighbour hood, not even at the Clayton highschool.

2464 : Build ice rinks

2465 : There is already a parkour park and water park by Hazelgrove elementary. We need a Rec space similar to that at LEC, with multi-use rooms, fitness options, but also a pool and box/skate park. The multi-use rooms (perhaps one that could be used as a theatre) could house the overcrowded elementary concerts, high school graduation ceremonies, and even creative performances.

2474 : Transit must run there or I will n.e.v.e.r. Go

2477 : Should have a kitchen space and recreation spaces

2479 : A place where performing arts can be held

2493 : Please add a pool

2496 : A water park in the area is much needed. There are no others around.

2507 : Rink and a pool is a must!!!

2508 : Would love a indoor pool that was promised!

2510 : Soccer Field and Tennis

2512 : Access to public transit. Clayton has horrible transit.

2514 : It's a good idea. As an architecture student and live long resident of the area I'm very interested in this, I see a lot of issues with the suburban urban environment and projects like these can start to make the public life less non-existent.

2525 : State of the art library that will engage youth

2528 : an indoor swimming pool!!!

2529 : Outdoor water park

2537 : Outdoor nature play area for toddlers

2540 : Offering teens opportunities to learn new skills

2544 : No

2556 : We need a pool and a track in our neighbourhood!!!

2567 : Would love to see a makerspace/tool library and community garden in this location

2569 : We'd love it to be a green building and be very eco-friendly

2604 : more baby programs

2607 : Be as comprehensive in programmatic use as possible, and provide the best attempt to foster arts and creation through learning and skill, rote knowledge and sport is prevalent enough

2648 : New outdoor pool

2669 : Pool

2754 : swimming pool 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

2807 : I find there is little focus to good restaurants or cafes in our public rec spaces. Food is an essential part of socializing too.

2847 : I look forward to what comes out of this research.

2878 : Port Kells library shold not be effected.

2880 : Outdoor activities and play space for kids

2924 : Would love to see arts spaces, library, Rec centre

2925 : Rink essential, Pool good

2954 : It sounds great but it's a bit too far from where I live

2955 : I think a pool would be very popular since there isn't one nearby

2958 : No

2959 : Indoor pool

2960 : Arcade

2968 : Ladies fitness

2969 : Can't wait till its done, need a decent one in that area

2971 : Pool please

2973 : Dodgeball

2974 : Need outdoor hockey cage which is missing in Surrey.

2978 : Pool

2979 : Library and recreation centre

2980 : Pool

2981 : No

2987 : That beach volleyball court idea was fantastic. Having drop-in intramural sessions would be a nice offering as well.

2990 : it will be great when it opens

2994 : definitely needs an indoor pool and a garden space and bistro patio for community to sit and enjoy and connect with others

2996 : Make a youth leadership program!

2998 : A playground

2999 : Maybe a pool would be nice

3000 : :)

3002 : No

3005 : No

3011 : Nah

3012 : Have a ice rink and pool

3013 : No

3018 : Would love a big library, but also a classroom area for art lessons and material art lessons - drawing painting quilting sewing beading knitting crochet etc.

3019 : all-season useability

3025 : Lots of spaces for classes since there are lots of people in the area

3036 : New Library and recreation centre would be nice

3042 : Biking trails and paved space

3043 : Make sure there is plenty of parking or accessibility

3046 : Library would be great

3047 : Organize more activities

3052 : Would like fitness classes early morning , evenings

3058 : no

3062 : Low cost or free

3063 : free wifi

3064 : get a pool

3069 : We need a swimming pool!! And more gym activities for toddler and preschool age children

3080 : love this idea

3086 : Indoor walking and running track

3087 : I would definitely be interested in sewing, textiles, painting, or any form of art classes.

3116 : We could use a library with a large children's section that offers fun programs for school aged kids. We would benefit from high quality art programs for kids similar to what is available at the Surrey arts centre.

3117 : Having a space where Seniors can meet; availability for fitness classes

3119 : Need an indoor public swimming pool that is open all year.

3120 : Essential that it's a hub

3125 : A multipurpose facility will surely be delightful to Clayton's multi-cultural population. Everyone will benefit - residents + visitors alike and ultimately resulting greater business, better economy and progress.

3133 : As housing is more condensed, having social and active places to go very important. Get people out of the condo/house. Entertainment is wonderful draw for socializing.

3135 : ceramics classes, pool

3137 : I think the LTR system is asking for trouble. If you put a train in the middle of a hub/walking space, your asking for a bucket of safety issues and not to mention irritation for foot traffic. Build a Skytrain, every other City has one.

3164 : Benches/sitting area outside. Library with cozy place to stay and read; coffee shop too!

3168 : please ensure that child care facilities are included in the planned space

3183 : Please do not take down more trees or habitat to build it

3184 : Swimming Pool

3299 : would love to see a pool

3317 : more programs with childcare available

3323 : do it

3339 : it would be nice to have a preschool and gym

3379 : Ensure green space is incorporated please

3382 : Exercise classes during the day.

3415 : A pool would be great!!

3430 : fast wifi

3436 : pool indoor

3437 : have a pool

3439 : pool, a track to run

3440 : a pool

3444 : indoor pool

3449 : a large library

3459 : I hope it become a good place for people

3460 : digiral art like tablets for computers

3473 : Where would it be located?

3487 : no

3502 : Rec space for teens

3507 : As a teacher at Katzie Elem, to have a library that we could go to would be AMAZING!!!!!!

3510 : Would be nice to finally see a pool in this area of the city. Maintain the location of the SLT. Hours convenient for working adults. Pottery & glass art classes and studio.

3515 : Would love to see a pool

3531 : needs more parking - like the rest of Clayton

3538 : basketball court

3541 : skate park where all scooters are banned and thrown out

3583 : It would be good to have strong start programs at this center

3585 : The guilford branch is the example I would suggest. It always has a great mix of people there and really feels like a community centre with all the spaces and activities in one place. The airiness of the semiamoo branch is to be envied. An outdoor space is nice on nice days but most of the year a wasted space. A greenhouse-type space would be more practical, especially with retractable walls on the nice days.

3594 : build it bigger than you think is needed. Like Cloverdale - it will be at capacity before the paint is dry.

3627 : a swimming pool would be terrific to have, look forward to a bigger library with space to offer more than Cloverdale one is able to. Really like the idea of incorporating a variety of open spaces

3641 : A pool, good sidewalks to and from, bike locking area

3703 : A cultural place with cafetería/snack area. Including a theatre for different performances

4091 : A new Library and Recreation Centre is exactly what Clayton Heights needs for young families with children in the area.

4191 : Would be great to build Preschool and Childminding Rooms

4215 : Gym, yoga classes, walking tracks outside

6567 : It would be great to incorporate lots of biophilia and to have the outdoor spaces offer appropriate gathering spaces, where friends and family can hangout together. Outdoor areas with lots of green spaces are very beneficial for highly compact neighborhoods like clayton.
